don’t do it for the culture
Spring 2022 – Senior Thesis Project

south asian-americans face the difficult task of striking a balance between their two worlds: traditional versus american. children of immigrants are given the privilege of a better life than their parents. cultural expectations from the motherland are restricting and paralyzing. my project aims to start a conversation about the deep anxiety my community faces when making decisions, and how we can move past our internalized immigrant guilt in order to truly start living for ourselves.

music day uk 2022

brand identity system
playing cards are used for many different physical and visual experiences (i.e. card games, gambling, magic shows, etc.) they have a very tangible quality to them, which contribute to the overall experience of cards. sound has a lot to do with playing cards too: the way we deal, shuffle, and interact with cards in our hands makes a unique and distinct sound. shufflemode is a music exhibition and workshop. this workshop will allow emerging artists to create their own beats from sound clips of playing cards. it will give aspiring musicians the opportunity to learn about music creation, artistic process, and production techniques.

	a graphic design manifesto.
typographic expression
Fall 2020

this graphic design manifesto covers the three biggest enemies for art students throughout the design process – deadlines, forces inspiration, and impostor syndrome. the book documents questions that students have answered about their own experiences with these three enemies. collected questions are then displayed in a format as if it’s a script.
